- Once again, Link and Marty are arguing about whether or not The Ricochet Lounge sucks, and Calista chimes in with her complaints about those two getting in trouble.
- Titus just wants all of them to shut up, because it's making them all look none too smart to the super hot girl he's busy checking out.
- Quendy and Loga head off to the restroom, because "hairstyles had changed" (3.5). (And you thought your fads changed quickly.)
- When they come back, Quendy rattles on at full volume about the lesion on her forehead. Her friends try to convince her that it's not that bad. #littlewhitelie
- Marty asks the hot girl to come over and say whether or not she notices anything about Quendy.
- The girl points out that the lesion isn't that bad, which is apparently not what Quendy wants to hear. Titus thinks the Girl in Gray's lesion is beautiful; it encircles her neck like a choker.
- The new girl gives a very detailed and quasi-scientific explanation for why Quendy's lesion isn't horrible: since the lesion is on the outside of the imaginary grid lines that divide up Quendy's face, the lesion sort of helps to "frame" her face and so it's not all that bad (3.23).
- Our gang looks at this girl dumfounded—they don't seem to understand her or expect people to talk that way.
- Marty and Link then fall all over themselves to have the girl look at and comment on their lesions. Gross!
- When she mentions the word "suppuration," they all have to look this up in their "English-to-English wordbook" (3.33). So, dictionary, basically.
- At this point, the guys think she's totally "youch" (which seems to mean hot), while the girls are getting kind of catty. They stop talking and start chatting each other privately.
- Titus gets jealous that the Girl in Gray is flirting a bit with Link, who is usually a "meg asshole" to girls (3.34).
- She seems to have eyes for Titus, though, because she's checking him out while Link and Marty are competing with each other in amping up the flirting.
- The Girl in Gray helps the girls to style Quendy's hair in a way that best shows off her lesion. Quendy's happy about this, since Calista is the queen bee, and for once Quendy gets to be the center of attention.
- Titus can't stop checking out the girl, and really, really wants to be with her that night.
