Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade Scene 10 Summary

  • It's a big Nazi rally in Berlin. Gross.
  • Indiana strolls up, disguised as a Nazi soldier. Personally, we prefer his trademark leather jacket, but hey, you know what they say: when in Berlin and trying to stop the Nazis from destroying mankind…
  • Indiana joins his dad. Turns out this isn't just a rally, it's a massive book burning party. Double gross.
  • Elsa looks on in tears as book after book is destroyed.
  • As Elsa leaves the scene, Indiana sneaks up on her. He grabs her arm and demands to know where the diary is. She asks why. He says he doesn't want it burned, and she's offended that he thinks she supports the Nazis' book burning. She explains that she's all about the Grail, not the Nazis. Indiana isn't buying it.
  • Indiana threatens to choke Elsa. Elsa threatens to scream. They look at each other in silence for a moment, and then we cut to Indiana returning to Henry, diary in hand. He immediately gets swept up in a tidal wave of people. They're all headed toward Hitler.
  • In fact, Indiana finds himself face to face with the Führer himself. They stare at each other, and then Hitler takes the diary from Indiana's hand…and autographs it for him.
  • What a tool.
