Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade Scene 6 Summary

  • Back at the apartment Donovan set them up with, Indiana shows Brody the rubbing he made of the dead knight's shield—you know, the complete early Latin Holy Grail MapQuest tablet.
  • Even with the full directions, Brody and Indiana are not quite sure where to go, but then it dawns on Brody that Indiana's dad would know, so they crack open his Grail diary again.
  • Turns out Indiana's dad knew the route to the Grail—he just didn't know where it started from. But, with their rubbing of the tablet, Indiana and Brody do know: it's Alexandretta.
  • Indiana tells Brody to contact their old pal Sallah (you might remember him from Raiders of the Lost Ark), and ask him meet them in Alexandretta. Indiana's going to go find his dad.
  • But first, Indiana goes next door, into his room, and finds that it's been ransacked.
  • Then he walks into another room, presumably Elsa's, and finds that it's been ransacked, too. Elsa? She's nowhere to be found, and it seems highly unlikely that she just stepped out for a gelato or something.
  • Wait, it turns out that Elsa's just in the bathroom. Indiana asks her to step out and scope out her messy room. Personally, we can't believe she wouldn't have heard people throwing drawers around, but maybe that's just us.
  • Indiana suspects the ransackers were looking for his dad's Grail diary, and Elsa gets ticked off that he's had it with him this whole time, but didn't trust her enough to tell her about it.
  • Indiana and Elsa fight, and then they angrily make out. Archaeologists, right?
