Where There Isn't a Will…
Christina used to be Tris's friend... that is, until Tris shot Christina's boyfriend, Will, and kept it from her. She's one of the few people in this series who seems capable of forgiveness. She's slow to warm up to forgiveness, though: only when she sees just what a simulation can do firsthand (i.e., when Marlene jumps to her death) does she realize that Tris did what she had to do to survive. The way some of these characters hold on to grudges (we're looking at you, Tris and Tobias) makes us think they could learn a little something about forgiveness from Christina.
