  • Morning arrives with a Russian soldier declaring that they've been liberated.
  • Stern asks if there are Jews left in Poland. He doesn't know where they should go.
  • The soldier tells them that they shouldn't go west; they're hated there. Come to think of it, they're hated in the east, too.
  • Schindler's Jews are liberated, alive, and utterly homeless.
  • The Jews walk toward an uncertain fate, but they're walking.
