- Neo wakes up late and gets a good old lecturing from his boss. He then finds himself sitting at his desk when a deliveryman arrives with a package for him.
- Inside is a cellphone that rings as soon as he touches it. When he answers the person on the other end asks if Neo knows who he is. Neo answers the call from "Morpheus." This must be the mysterious "he" Trinity spoke of.
- Morpheus is able to guide him through the office as he avoids detection from the agents (yes the same ones that were after Trinity) but when Morpheus tells Neo he needs to go outside the skyscraper and onto the scaffolding, Neo can't do it. Too high; too scary. He gives up.
- We see the agents take him into custody and we also see Trinity, looking at home on a motorcycle in her leather getup. She is not pleased.
