Tom's Progress
- The last time we saw Tom, he was just getting used to being king. By now, he's totally accustomed to the whole routine. Nothing surprises or confuses him anymore.
- Tom's even forgotten all about Edward, the real prince, and his own family. Thinking about them only makes him remember that he wasn't always the king.
- So while Tom Canty is sleeping in his fancy royal bed, Edward is outside, hungry and thirsty, trying to find his way into the palace.
