Whit and Wisty's beloved mom and dad aren't around for much of the book, but they're often in the Allgood siblings' thoughts. After Whit and Wisty are arrested, their parents go into hiding. They show up briefly (via astral projection) at the end of the book to pass their knowledge to Whit and Wisty. Are they magical themselves? That remains unclear.
