Air traffic controlling is not a dangerous job. However, it is a job that is all about creating a safe environment for others. Physically, air traffic controllers must stay in shape. They must have 20/20 vision, show no signs of heart disease, retain healthy blood pressure and have no history of mental health problems. No one from the cast of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest would make it very long in this biz.
