Elite means elite. Only a few will ever become a SEAL. Only 10 to 15% pass the training. However, the world is changing, as is war. The enemy is invisible, and so the Special Forces who operate under the radar are growing while the standard fighting units are shrinking in size. So if you have what it takes, your country needs you for the foreseeable future. If you don’t have what it takes, that’s okay, too – your country still needs plumbers and landscapers.
