Sex isn't really a thing in Missing May at all, even though a couple of the main characters are middle schoolers who are probably just reaching puberty. No matter—that's just not the point of this story (especially because Summer is in no way romantically interested in Cletus—and he doesn't seem particularly in love with her either). And even though Uncle Ob and Aunt May love each other very much, they're old and Summer doesn't exactly describe any physical affection between them—we're talking not even a kiss. So in terms of overall sexuality, Missing May is as tame as it gets.
