Kendra
- Nose job day, Shmoopers! Kendra's mom drives her to the hospital.
- She's nervous, and she asked her mom for a Xanax the night before so she could sleep; her mom gave it to her.
- A nurse comes to the waiting room to get her, and her mom signs the papers.
- She puts on a gown, hairnet, and booties, and says hi to Dr. Kane (a.k.a. Andre's mom), who wheels her to the operating room to wait for the anesthesiologist.
- Cheryl, the aforementioned anesthesiologist, comes in and sees that Kendra is severely underweight.
- Cheryl goes to get Dr. Kane. When they come back into the room, Cheryl asks Dr. Kane how she didn't notice that Kendra was too thin for anesthesia.
- She pulls Kendra's gown off her shoulders, and Kendra starts to shiver; Dr. Kane sees what's up and gets her a blanket.
- Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on whether you're Kendra or not), Dr. Kane cancels the nose job. She offers Kendra some hot chocolate and tells her to get dressed and come to her office.
- Kendra accepts the hot chocolate to make Dr. Kane and Cheryl shut up about the eating disorder thing.
- When she goes to Dr. Kane's office, Dr. Kane has called in Kendra's mom—she's recommending inpatient treatment.
- Kendra's mom says they can handle it at home. Kendra agrees, of course.
