If this is what you want to do for the next twenty years, now is the best time to start. The Baby Boomers are calling it quits at the workplace and heading to the nursing home, and they're the largest generation yet. Demand for orderlies has never been higher. 

Chances are, you won't want to stick it out for twenty years, because you'll want to move on to bigger and better things. Like, almost anything else. But the job will be there for you if you want it (source). We're also going to need people to help clean the sick and elderly...at least until robo-assistants are a thing.
