The going's good; now is the best time to become an orderly. The Baby Boomers are all getting older, creating an orderly-demand-boom. Caring for old people makes up the majority of the orderly's paycheck. So thank heavens for Father Time, because prospects are excellent.
The field is growing at a rate of twenty-one percent, or almost twice as fast as the average growth rate. The odds of getting in are way better the more certifications and qualifications you have (source).
