- A year later, Mibs and Poppa are sitting on a porch swing at the front of their house, while Rocket is getting ready to head to the middle of Montana so he can learn to scumble his savvy.
- While Poppa is doing better than he was a year ago, he's still recovering and he communicates soundlessly with Mibs through Miss Mermaid.
- Fish has learned to scumble well enough that he can go back to school, though Mibs is going to take another year to make sure she's got the hang of scumbling before returning herself.
- Will and Bobbi are coming over to the house to hang out and so Bobbi can say goodbye to Rocket before he leaves.
