Or you are an auditor and you caught fraud—the CEO and CFO are soon to go to jail. You made them cry—they will lose the Winnebago of their retirement dreams because of you.
You get praise and pats on the back, but you probably won’t get carried through the streets on anyone’s shoulders. If you wanted that trip, you'd have chosen another career or era in which to be born. Like, do they do street-shoulder-carrying any more anyway?
