Not too many famous general practitioners. There’s no televised awards show celebrating achievements in ulcer diagnosis. But we suppose if you write a popular book (we’re thinking something related to your field rather than an edge-of-your-seat spy thriller) or came up with a way to get babies to stop crying, you could become pretty well known.
