Anything that takes 8 years of advanced schooling plus training and credentialing is tough. With an aging population and an explosion in health care costs, the role of the GP is only getting bigger. There will always be demand for these services but if you are looking for the more lucrative ones, you need to set up a concierge (subscription) practice in a high net worth area.
