Common Core Standards: Math See All Teacher Resources

The Number System

These standards help students learn to deal with some of the deep-seated negativity they have for math. Wait. Scratch that; reverse it.

After we're sure that students have the adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing chops to tackle whatever fractions or decimals we throw at them, we'll have them get their feet wet in the negative side of the number line.
