The Shining

The Shining

by Stephen King

Delores Vickery

Character Analysis

Delores Vickery is the "chambermaid" who first sees the ghost of the woman in 217. According to Halloran, she has a slight shine, but isn't a very nice person. She's mostly a plot device to broaden the discussion of shining and to confirm the existence of the ghost in 217.
