  • Well this is disappointing. We've arrived already at our VH1: Behind the Music stage? And just when your child was doing so well! 
  • Sure, they've been lost before, but it feels a lot worse when they actually had something to lose this time. Even harder: knowing that they got there because of their own actions ("happening," if you will) rather than due to the all out jerkery of a mortal enemy. 
  • Besides, shouldn't it be that once you achieve your dreams (or what you thought were your dreams) that you should be on top of the world indefinitely?
  • It's stunning how Seuss can deliver such devastation in such plain words, rhythm and rhyme.
