Emma
- Emma sneaks off to the public library after the last bell rings, but Josh catches up to her in the parking lot and asks if she's okay. Emma feels badly for not telling Josh what she's about to do, but she knows that she has to get rid of this guy who's ruining her future.
- They agree to check the website again after dinner.
- Emma runs in to Dylan Portman (another ex-boyfriend) in front of the library, and she resists the urge to flirt with him, even though he's still really cute.
- Once inside, Emma gets hold of the California phone book for the county that Jordan lives in. Although there isn't a Jordan Jones listed, she photocopies the page with the J. Joneses on it.
