Character Analysis
The Berlins are Becca's loving parents, with whom she lives and shares a close relationship. Her father, a surgeon, is a history buff who dotes on Becca. Mrs. Berlin is Gemma's daughter, so she spends most of her appearances crying and/or feeling sad.
One thing worth noting: Becca's parents are opposed to her traveling to Poland. Whether this is because they're opposed to traveling in general, or because they think this particular trip will upset Becca, is unclear.
