- It's a while later, still in Rick's apartment, but Ilsa's clearly been dishing on the whole story about her and Victor.
- Turns out she had received word that Victor had been shot and killed (obviously some bad intelligence there), which is why she allowed herself to later fall for Rick.
- She says that she can't imagine leaving Rick again, but she's still hopeful he'll at least help Victor get out of Casablanca.
- They rekindle their romance with a night of passion. Off-screen of course.
