Exactly how steamy is this story?
NC-17, and not in the sexy way
There is enough sex in Outlander that we had to make it a theme. It's all pretty graphic, like something straight out of the Harlequin romance library, but that makes it pretty steamy, too… at least when it's between two consenting adults.
Unfortunately, Claire is in a time and place where fear of rape runs rampant, especially when angry tribes of men are prowling the countryside looking for any kind of action they can get. It's not just Claire who is in danger, either. Jamie finds himself on the receiving end of lust from not one, but two male British generals who want to find out what the Scotsman is wearing under his kilt.
