Exactly how steamy is this story?

Even though there's a lot of bare skin in Things Not Seen, there's not a whole lot of sex. How can that be? Well, Bobby Phillips may very well be totally nude for much of the novel, but it's not because he's getting it on with anyone. Nope, it's because it's the easiest way for him to sneak around now that he's turned invisible. And even though there is some romance involved when it comes to his pretty new friend Alicia, Bobby doesn't even kiss her in the course of the novel. Their friendship—and mutual crush—is pretty chaste.
