New talent is always arriving on the scene and hitting it big, so there is always a call for new PAs. If you network like crazy, perhaps get yourself signed up with an agency, and show that you’re willing and able to roll with the punches (hear that, Ms. Adams? We’re not afraid of you...), you should be able to find PA work. Your chances may be better if you spend some time first getting non-entertainment PA work, possibly in an office-type setting. Many of the skills you pick up there will translate, many will not. But at least it will get you used to being bossed around all the time. Maybe someday you’ll have kids so you can take it all out on them.
