Hotel Management gigs are growing – but at around 8% are doing so more slowly than the average. The jobs are out there, but the slow growth means that the competition will be tougher.
If you want a good shot at getting in, plan on majoring in Hospitality or Hotel Management. Some high schools even offer two-year technical programs in these areas, which would help your odds as well.
Experience is important, so once you have your foot in the door and some management notches on your belt, your chances of scoring a good Manager position go up.
