- Titus talks to Violet, telling her fragments of history and current events.
- Titus tells her that the Global Alliance is threatening war. He also tells her some trivia about the Emperor Nero of Rome, and about the history of the most popular image of Santa Claus—how it got started by the Coca-Cola company.
- Oh, and the United States has apparently started bombing South America, like you do. But the one story Titus doesn't want her to forget is the story of herself. It's a story about the feed, and how a normal guy met a rabble rouser.
- It's set in the time of America in decline, and in the end, both learn an important lesson about love.
