It should come as no surprise that a book about teenage pregnancy features some sex scenes. If you are surprised, you might want to swing by sex-ed class to get all of your questions answered. Sam confides in us early on what a big deal his v-card is for him (2.167), but even though he decides to go through with it, we don't get many juicy tidbits about the actual deed. We do get some details about how it makes him feel emotionally before and after, though. The book is more about the aftermath of sex than the tumble between the sheets itself.
