Flora and Ulysses Chapter 60 Summary

He Was Ulysses!

  • In the woods, Ulysses smells pine trees and needles.
  • Phyllis puts the sack down on the ground as Ulysses grasps the poem.
  • She orders him to let go of the poem, and then tells him that this is the end of his journey. Yikes.
  • Ulysses suddenly remembers Flora's advice to him to remember who he is—it's something she told him in the donut shop—and now he's got to be like one of her superheroes so he can stay alive.
  • He grabs the shovel from her, drops it, and starts flying in the air, higher and higher.
