Slamming on the Brakes
- Leticia encounters AP Shelton and says she was damaged. He starts to take it seriously, but then she shows him her hand and separated nail.
- So AP Shelton tells her to go to class. Of course, Leticia contests—she thinks someone in the school needs to be responsible—and smirking (we don't blame him), Shelton sends her on her not-so-merry way.
- Upset, Leticia sneaks into a cubicle in the media center and calls her mom on her cell phone, who tells Leticia she can wait to fix her nail before hanging up on Leticia.
- Naturally, Leticia calls her dad… and he agrees to do exactly what Leticia's mom refused to. We're starting to get a picture of why Leticia is the way she is.
