- From the church, Kiriel walks to Lane's house; out of all the people in Shaun's life, Kiriel thinks Lane will be the happiest to see him.
- She's done with Bailey's books and was going to return them, but her grandma is taking a nap.
- Hmm… could he finally get lucky? If no one was around, maybe he could get his wish of getting together with Lane…
- They start talking and Kiriel tells her that he's gorgeous, which makes her uncomfortable.
- He's lost. She specifically said in her journal that this is what she wanted to hear, and now she rolls her eyes at it? Hrm.
- So then he kisses Lane, and luckily, it's clear they both like it. In fact, they hardly come up for air.
- When they finally do, Kiriel says she's going to enjoy this, but Lane pulls away from him. Enjoy what?
- She's not ready to lose her v-card yet, since that was their first kiss.
- Kiriel doesn't get it: He thought she wanted him to do all this stuff. She even wrote about it in her diary, but maybe that wasn't really what she wanted.
- She says she really likes him, but that was her first kiss ever and she doesn't want to rush things.
- They kiss again, and then Kiriel decides it's time to go.
- He meets her grandma on the way out and leaves, but not before telling Lane she's beautiful again. He thinks it's just something she needs to hear.
