- When Kiriel gets home, Jason is playing the guitar… or at least trying to. He asks Shaun where he's been and Kiriel covers by saying he missed the bus.
- He starts to think about what it'll be like for Jason when he learns his brother died.
- Kiriel thinks he should help the guy out, so he tells Jason he can have Shaun's guitar; Jason is shocked and excited for the cool gift.
- There's just one catch, though: Jason has to go talk to Carson one day. It doesn't have to be today, but he has to promise Shaun he'll do it.
- Um, okay… Jason agrees.
- It occurs to Kiriel that it's people's flaws that make them interesting. If they were all perfect, life would be super dull.
- Kiriel pats Peanut's head and then notices the cat looking outside across the street.
