Repossessed Chapter 6 Summary

  • The next day, Kiriel feels gravity on his body, which is a new sensation since he's used to floating around without a body or gravity in hell.
  • He says good morning to Peanut, who still doesn't like Kiriel much. Oh well.
  • Kiriel tries to pet Peanut, but he gets scratched instead. Cats, man.
  • He wonders if Peanut knows that he isn't Shaun, and if he is just a reflection of the Creator somehow.
  • He's never thought much about animals before, but he sees why people like them; before he got scratched, he noticed Peanut's fur was soft.
  • Kiriel thinks about how the Creator made humans with certain desires, but when they want to act on those desires—envy, greed, laziness, you name it—they get damned.
  • How unfair is that? Kiriel thinks the whole system doesn't work.
