- Lin learns that Ghani had been behind the Sapna killings, and that he had tipped off the Pakistanis to Khader's mission in Afghanistan.
- Nazeer is now in charge of Khader's business. He asks Lin to take over the counterfeiting section. Lin agrees, if he can move the workshop and hire Johnny Cigar and his friend Kishore as his runners.
- Lin meets his associates at a nice restaurant, and he sees Lisa there. He gets up to talk to her and she invites him up to her hotel room.
- Lisa invites Lin to come live with her, and they kiss, but it's clear he's still hung up on Karla. She tells him the story of why Karla left the US, after killing her rapist.
- Lin goes outside and considers buying some drugs. Just then, Abdullah's ghost appears and talks to Lin. He says that he's not actually dead—surprise. He's just been hiding out.
- Abdullah says that one of the Sapna guys and a couple of spies from Iran are still on the loose, and that they must go after them. He also announces that he's going to be married, which seems a little out of place what with all the dangerous talk.
