  • Epigraph: "When life hands you a lemon, say, 'Oh yeah. I like lemons. What else ya got?'"—Henry Rollins
  • Good morning,Lena. It's breakfast time with Bapi, which is quite awkward since he and Lena don't speak the same language.
  • Staring at him in silence, Lena notices her nose is like his and worries he is disappointed that she doesn't speak Greek.
  • Lena puts on the Pants again, grabs her painting supplies, and meets Kostos at the door.
  • Steadfast on rejecting him, Lena asks which way he is heading—and then she goes the other way. Cold, Lena, ice cold.
  • Bee writes a letter to Tibby, telling her that camp is great and she loves Eric.
  • Tibby returns to work, only to learn that she's in trouble for leaving. She still has Bailey's wallet though, so she looks her up in the phone book then heads over to her house to return it.
  • When she gets there, though, Bailey accuses her of stealing her wallet. Tibby responds sarcastically, but then Bailey's mother brings up medicine and Tibby learns the girl has leukemia.
  • Bailey'smother explains that Bailey likes to test people, and these words strike a chord with Tibby since her mother says the same thing about her.
  • Bailey and Tibby banter sarcastically until Tibby leaves.
  • Lena writes Carmen a letter, telling her how much she loves the beauty of Greece and that she wants them all to visit the country together some day. She fills her in on what she's been up to—painting, drinking coffee—and casually mentions Kostos and how much he loves her, but is quick to assert that she's not interested.
  • Back in South Carolina, Carmen is at a party with her soon to be step-siblings while dad and his fiancé step out for the night.
  • Feeling a bit naughty, Carmen tells Paul's girlfriend Kelly (a.k.a. "Skeletor") she is living with Paul to get her jealous.
