Uber-Geeks
If the Geek is a Geek (and we debate that on his character page) then his two friends, Bryce and Cliff are uber-geeks. They use weird scope goggles and walkie-talkies at the school dance to scope out other students and talk to each other instead of actually interacting with another human being.
They're also the ones who persuade the Geek to get Sam's panties, because that's the closest they'll ever get to a girl…because they're too chicken to actually talk to one.
In comparison to his friends, we see why the Geek is the leader of this sad little group. He's not afraid to put himself out there. They have to live vicariously through him. There are worse things than having to look up to someone known to the whole school as "the Geek" but we can't think of them.
