The Sixth Sense Scene 25 Summary

  • We're watching a commercial that Cole's bully starred in. Cole throws something at the TV.
  • His mother's trying to fix the thermostat but thinks it must be broken. Of course, we as the audience know that feeling is just dead people hanging around. You know, just that.
  • They talk over dinner. Mom keeps finding the bumblebee pendant that belonged to her mother in Cole's drawer. She asks why he keeps taking it.
  • Cole won't admit to taking it, and she gets really frustrated. She knows he's not being forthcoming about something and wants him to be straight with her.
  • He tells her that he didn't take it, and she gets mad and makes him leave the table.
  • As he heads to his room, the dog runs out. We're guessing that means something super scary is about to happen. Another ghost trope: animals can sense them around.
  • We see a kid going into Cole's room. He asks Cole to come with; he wants to show Cole where his dad keeps his gun.
  • As ghost boy turns to go into Cole's room, we see a big wound in the back of his head.
  • Cole goes to find his mother, who's trying to coax the dog out of the closet. Cole and his mom make up and hug, but she's upset. She knows something's wrong and he won't tell her what.
