Data begins setting booby traps in case they're being followed. Meanwhile, Mikey lifts a skull-shaped key off Chester, and hangs it around his neck.
- It turns out that Data isn't the first person to have ever walked through this tunnel with booby traps on the brain.
- Mikey accidentally sets off one of One-Eyed Willy's old traps, and the Goonies are nearly crushed beneath a number of large boulders.
- They don't get much time to catch their breath afterward, as Brand then moves a large rock that releases hundreds of bats.
