Who's Eligible: College and graduate students

Award Amount: Up to $10,000

Due Date: April 1


Students have to demonstrate financial need to win this one, but they also have to show a commitment to working for peace and justice. To compete, students must be an active part of a progressive group on their campus and have taken concrete steps to furthering the peace movement. Past recipients have fought McCarthyism, worked for economic justice, and made strides to tear down homophobia and racism. Application forms are available here.
