Website: http://www.ussenateyouth.org/

Who's Eligible: High school juniors and seniors serving in student government

Award Amount: $10,000 and a week-long trip to Washington D.C.

Due Date: Varies by state

Requirements:

Future politicians, gather round. In addition to receiving cold, hard cash, students who win this award also get a week-long excursion to our nation's capital where they will attend Senate speeches, meet and greet with Supreme Court justices, and hobnob with the future political elite from across the country. All transportation, hotel, and meal costs will be provided. The catch is that students have to be nominated through their high school or state (each state representative is available here). To be eligible, students must be serving in some form of student government.
