How It All Goes Down

- Leo and Raisa are on their way to Moscow. The couple acted like they were going on a hiking trip to evade the authorities—but after heading into the woods, they snuck back to the train station.
- Leo and Raisa are going to Moscow for a few reasons. First and foremost, they want to talk to Galina, a woman who claims to have seen the killer. Raisa also wants to visit Ivan for advice, much to Leo's chagrin.
- An MGB officer hassles Leo and Raisa when they arrive, but he "could barely read" and can't tell that their papers are fake (4.33.13). He checks their bags and lets them go.
