How It All Goes Down
One Hundred Kilometers East of Moscow, 12 July
- Raisa is sitting in the back of the crowded train. Leo is lying beside her, having "slept for most of the journey so far" (4.26.6). He only wakes up once, rambling about Oksana and Andrei.
- The train stops, and the guards make their rounds. As it starts to move again, however, Raisa notices five burly career-criminals giving her the stink-eye.
