- Pamela reports that she and Mr. B went for a walk this morning, during which Mr. B announced that he has arranged his affairs to ensure that Pamela and her family would remain financially secure and happy even if he were to die without an heir.
- Oh, and BTW, if he dies first, he wants her to promise not to marry Mr. Williams, so no one thinks that she just married Mr. B for his money but really liked Mr. W all along.
- Okay then. Moving on, Mr. B sang her some poetry.
- Later, they had dinner and discussed his various literary endeavors, including some attempts at essay writing.
