- The master came to visit Pamela in bed that morning to let her know he's going away but that she's going to be closely watched in his absence.
- He also told Pamela that he had told Mr. Longman to "give up his Accounts" and fired Mrs. Jervis and Jonathan (67.2), since he thinks they've contributed to a huge "breach" between him and his sister, Lady Davers (67.2).
- Pamela is still suspicious.
