- Big news! Mr. B has told Pamela he's no longer going to treat her as his servant because he looooooves her: "I must say I love you; and have put on a Behavior to you, that was much against my Heart, in hopes to frighten you to my purposes" (33.4).
- Also, he wants to help out her family, no strings attached. SURE. Seems legit.
- He just wants her to stay another week or two so he could get some "certain Affairs" in order (33.6).
- But Pamela's still planning to leave.
