- Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Senator Organa are walking down the white hallways of a large ship, discussing everything that's happened. As far as they know, they might be the only survivors of the attack on the Jedi.
- They've received a coded retreat message from the Temple, telling all of the Jedi to go there for safe haven. These guys sense a trap.
- They agree to go back to the Temple, reset the message, and see what's going on.
- We cut to Mustafar, a planet covered with molten lava and the weird droids that collect it.
- The Sith Lord's minions are reporting to him via hologram. He tells them to expect his new apprentice, Darth Vader, to "take care of them." (We don't think it means what they think it means.)
- Cut back to Senator Organa, who receives a call telling him that the Chancellor expects him at an emergency session of the Senate.
- Yoda and Obi-Wan encourage him to attend.
- Back on Mustafar, Anakin and R2-D2 land their ship. R2-D2 is ordered to stay there while Darth Vader goes to take care of business.
- Nute Gunray (the head baddie under Lord Sidious) welcomes to their control room Darth Vader, who ominously stays hooded and shuts all the doors.
