- We cut to two ships landing, and then we see the Emperor and Darth Vader, who is being carried on a futuristic stretcher, still alive.
- Back to Padmé. The medical droid explains to Senator Organa, Obi-Wan, and Yoda that medically, she's fine, but for some inexplicable reason, she's still dying. They need to operate immediately to save her twin babies.
- Yoda and Obi-Wan look pretty concerned.
