Count Dooku (Christopher Lee)

Character Analysis

Christopher Lee (RIP, you beautifully malevolent-looking man) should have just played all of the bad guys in every movie. His deep baritone voice rumbles with velvety evil as he condescends to talk to those who are against him. We could listen to him describe his dastardly plans all day long.

In Revenge of the Sith, Dooku (or Lord Tyranus, his Sith alter ego) has "kidnapped" Palpatine, drawing Obi-Wan and Anakin to the Chancellor's rescue.

Unfortunately, this encounter ends when Anakin severs both of Count Dooku's hands and then decapitates him under the watchful and encouraging sponsorship of the Chancellor. This marks the beginning of Anakin's conversion to the dark side (he immediately realizes he shouldn't have killed an unarmed man) as well as seals Palpatine's confidence in his ability to manipulate the young Padawan.

Also, you know, no more Christopher Lee in this movie. Frowny face.
